PRESIDENT GÖKTAŞ “THE SUN WILL MEET OUR ELECTRICITY NEEDS”

Solar energy, one of the projects that Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman of the Board of Directors Cüneyt Göktaş and the Board of Directors aimed to implement when they took office, has been completed and started electricity production.

Stating that the panels above the car park were laid in the area behind the ATSO Service Building and electricity generation was started, ATSO President Göktaş, in his statement; “At the very beginning of our appointment, we stated that we would prepare researches and projects related to solar energy in our city. Today, we have implemented a project that is among our goals. We have started to produce our electricity from the sun by laying panels above the car park on our land located at the back of our room service building. During the next period, we will now obtain the electricity of our room from the natural source of the sun. Thus, our room will be saved from high electricity costs. A few years ago, in the feasibility studies conducted in our city and in the feasibility reports made in other regions, we stated that Aksaray was one of the cities with the most efficient sun rays in Turkey. In a location where such efficient energy is provided, as the business world, more benefit should be provided and we should attach more importance to such projects. Hopefully, this project will set an example and the sun of Aksaray will meet its electricity. I wish good luck to all our members in our project,” he said.
