Cüneyt Göktaş, Chairman of the Board of Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that the increases in Aksaray's exports continued during the pandemic period and new records came.
Göktaş, who made statements on the subject, also stated that; “Aksaray has increased both the previous month and the same month of the previous year with an export of 19 million dollars in September 2021. Exporters from Aksaray, who did not slow down despite the pandemic conditions, broke a historical record by exporting a total of $ 126 million until September, despite the fact that the annual average export figure of 110 million dollars was 3 months until the completion of the year. It has been observed that the growing manufacturing sector in Aksaray exports to different parts of the world, especially to Europe, and progress has been made in the fields of textile, automotive, steel silo and food. The exports made by our growing sectors will bring our city to much better points in the future. If the figures of our giant brands whose headquarters are in Istanbul were included in these figures, today's export figures of our city would be over 1 Billion Dollars. Despite this, Aksaray will be the future Turkey's Industrial City with the arrival of new investments in our city, which is developing rapidly and increasing its potential every year, and with the contribution of our sub-industrialists. As the representatives of the business world, we will continue to play a leading role in the achievement of our city's goals and we will work to bring Aksaray to a much better place with the power of common mind.
