While the introduction meeting of Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Konya Chamber of Commerce, Chemnitz Chamber of Commerce's Member Service Center Project was held on the zoom program due to COVID-19, Konya Chamber of Commerce Chairman Selçuk Öztürk, Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Cüneyt Göktaş, Chemnitz Members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and press members of Konya and Aksaray participated.
Making the opening speech of the meeting, Konya Chamber of Commerce President Selçuk Öztürk made a statement; "Sustainable competitiveness and increasing the corporate vision of its members, the region and the development road to the Konya Chamber of Commerce with the vision on a global scale of Turkey's economy, Europe and the Union's financial support" Member Service Center "has developed the project. The main purpose of this project is to increase the service capacity of Konya Chamber of Commerce and Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry so that they can serve their members better. With the project realized in partnership of Konya Chamber of Commerce, Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chemnitz Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Germany, separate 'Member Service Center' was established in Konya Chamber of Commerce and Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The mission of the Member Service Center is to be a Business Development and Support Desk where businessmen and industrialists operating in Konya and Aksaray region can receive information and support in different areas related to the activities of the Chambers and the business world, and also create an effective service provider model in this area at the national level. The Member Service Center will be the first point of the Chamber in contact with the member. The purpose here is to fulfill member requests quickly and accurately in the Member Service Center without going to the services as much as possible by applying the Customer Relationship Management System. Within the scope of the project, a Member Needs Analysis Survey was carried out in order to understand the needs and problems of the Members / non-members in Konya and Aksaray regarding the activities of the Chambers and their expectations and suggestions in reaching information about business life. Research Result Reports were prepared by evaluating the results of the survey applied to 1000 companies in Konya and 250 companies in Aksaray. The results of this report provided information on which services the Member Service Centers to be established in Konya Chamber of Commerce and Aksaray Chamber of Commerce should give priority. Within the scope of the project, Member Service Center offices were created and furnished at the entrances of Konya Chamber of Commerce and Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 4 staff in Konya Chamber of Commerce Member Service Center, 1 staff member for Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry Member Service Center started to work as “Member Service Center Representative”. Personal Development Trainings under 10 different headings were given to the Member Service Center Representatives to have the competencies required by the project. Afterwards, the representatives were subjected to an orientation program in the Chamber Units in order to see the activities of the Chambers practically. The Member Service Center will primarily provide a Call Center service where members can get information about their transactions before they come to the Chamber. For this purpose, Member Relationship Management and Call Center Software has been designed to be used in the Member Service Center. The Member Service Center Software System has been specially designed to fully meet the needs of the Chambers, ”he said.
Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Cüneyt Göktaş, in his speech at the meeting; “I wish the Chemnitz Chamber of Commerce and Industry and our member service center, which is a European Union project, put into operation in 2019, to be beneficial. For years, one of the most important needs of our members has been to create a structure where they can meet under one roof at the communication point. This project, which was implemented based on this need, emerges as the most efficient project of recent years in terms of communication with members. With the realization of the project, our members will be able to reach our room through a single channel at the point of any problem, suggestion, request, and they will be able to make their transactions by saving time through this channel.
It is also of particular importance that this project comes out with the Financial Support of the European Union at the Budget Point. In our member service center, which will serve under the headings of chamber activities, current announcements, business establishment processes and necessary documents, investment areas, state supports and affiliates, our personnel who are given personal development training in 10 different titles in a way that they have the qualifications required by the project will be managed by us. With these thoughts, I wish our member service center, which will serve through our call center without coming to the room, to be beneficial, and I thank the owner of the project, Konya Chamber of Commerce and the dear chairman of the board, Selçuk Öztürk, for their support and cooperation with our room.
