ATSO President Cüneyt Göktaş's promise that we will make Aksaray an Export Center, which was among his targets at the beginning of his term, started to find its place.
ATSO President Cüneyt Göktaş, who underlined that the Export Support Office established within the chamber managed to direct many companies that have not yet exported to export by organizing market research and meetings, and made a statement on the subject, said, “When we took office in 2018, we made some promises to the business world of our city and to our members. We said that we will make Aksaray a Foreign Trade Center, increase our export figures and implement whatever is necessary for this. Since our goal is big, we had to establish an office for Foreign Trade within the chamber, and in the middle of 2020, we established our export support office and opened it to the service of our members. With the efforts of our Export Support Office during the past period, tens of our members, who have not exported in their businesses until now, have started to export. As it is known, especially in 2020 and 2021, when the pandemic was severely affected in our country, while trade in many countries of the world came to a standstill, Aksaray exceeded the year 2020 in terms of exports and broke new records. Our goal is to increase our export figures more than last year at the end of 2021, with the start of its normalization. Aksaray has the potential to achieve this, and as the leading company of Aksaray business world, we will give all our support with our Export Support Office. With this statement we have made, we invite our members who have not met with export yet but want to export to our Chamber and ask them to get information from our Export Support Office. Today, the world market has turned its eyes to Turkey and they have started to focus on Turkey as an alternative. We should make good use of this opportunity and open up to the world markets more as Aksaray," he said.
