Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry will meet its own electricity with solar power plants to be installed in the parking area behind the Service Building.
Making a statement on the subject, ATSO President Cüneyt Göktaş said, “We are implementing another project that is among the 2021 targets of our strategic plan. We start to produce our own electricity in order to avoid the electricity costs paid by our room every year. As it is known, we had a large parking lot at the back of our service building in an open area of 5 thousand square meters. We will arrange energy panels in this area in a way that will not interfere with the parking lot, and we will save our room from high electricity costs. Currently, very few Chambers and Exchanges are doing this project in Turkey and there are dozens of Non-Governmental Organizations working on the project. As Aksaray, we acted quickly with our board of directors to complete this project as soon as possible and until the end of the year, and we finally succeeded. We will have implemented a project in 2021. During the time we took office, we have implemented so many projects that ATSO has officially become the project center of Aksaray. Foreign Trade Office, Member Service Center, ATSO Arbitration and Mediation Center, Service Building Additional Halls, European Union Internship Bridges, Project and Consultancy Center, Solar Energy Project are just the ones that stand out from our projects. Hopefully, in 2022, we will bring Aksaray to a much better place with many more projects. In this context, our solar energy, which we will put into operation behind our service building, will be beneficial to our chamber and our members.
