Cüneyt Göktaş, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who made a statement about the information seminar held for ATSO Members on energy efficiency, whose importance has increased rapidly in recent years, said, "As it is known, energy is one of the biggest problems the world has experienced in recent years. Today, it is clear that every investor has major problems due to high energy costs. At this point, our Turkish Standards Institute takes innovative steps in terms of energy efficiency and informs the investors by conducting studies. Energy efficiency ensures that energy losses, which can be in many different forms such as heat, gas, steam, compressed air, electricity, and energy consumption are reduced without reducing production, without hindering social welfare, by evaluating or recovering all kinds of wastes or by using new technology. Energy efficiency also contributes to the reduction of energy consumption per unit service or product amount, without causing a decrease in the standard of living and service quality in buildings, and production quality and quantity in industrial enterprises. Energy efficiency; Reducing the share of energy input in production supports the realization of the same production by consuming less energy. We would like to thank our members who participated in the seminar we organized in the field of energy efficiency, the importance of which continues to increase day by day. As ATSO, we will continue the trainings for our businesses and our members, and we will carry out studies to contribute to their knowledge in every field.”
