While Aksaray's export record in the history of the Republic in 2021 was 171 Million Dollars, the figures in the first month of the new year seem to herald new records at the end of the year.
Cüneyt Göktaş, Chairman of the Board of Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced that the export figure of January 2022 increased by 70% to the export figure of January 2021, amounting to 11.47 Million Dollars.
ATSO President Göktaş, in the continuation of his statement; “As a result of the economic data obtained by ATSO Export Support Office from TİM, the export figures of our province Aksaray increased by 70.4% compared to January of the previous year and reached 11.47 million dollars. When the January of the previous years is taken as a reference, exports made a record start. The first three countries with the highest exports in January are Bulgaria, Egypt and the Republic of South Africa, respectively. The most exported products are machinery and accessories (5.19 Million $), automotive industry (1.84 Million $) and ferrous and non-ferrous metals (1.09 Million $). The first three sectors that grew by percentage compared to January of the previous year are textile, automotive industry and carpet business.
When we look at the figures, it seems that 2022 will break new records in Aksaray's exports. Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is the leading institution of the Business World, will make the greatest contribution to our members with the work it will do.
