The ambassador, who visited ATSO Chairman of the Board of Directors Cüneyt Göktaş in his office, later met with Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Ahmet Kulak, Member of the Board of Directors Hasan Demir and members of the Chamber.
Making the opening speech of the visit, ATSO Chairman of the Board Cüneyt Göktaş, in his speech; “I congratulate the 31st anniversary of the independence of Kyrgyzstan, a friendly and brotherly country that declared its independence in 1991. On behalf of Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its members, I would like to express my gratitude to you for your visit, which will contribute to the development of relations between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, which has a deep-rooted relationship with our common history, religion, culture and languages. Our members, who are with you today, are among us to contribute to the foreign trade volume of the two friendly countries. The contribution of our province to the bilateral foreign trade volume of the two countries has been around 2 million dollars in the past years. We do not find this figure sufficient. That's why, as the Kyrgyz man of letters Cengiz Aytmatov says, "There will be a day is the price of time", and as of today, we start our work with the belief and excitement that ways to increase the mutual trade between Aksaray and Bishkek should be sought. I would like to express to you, in the presence of our esteemed members, that Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with its members, will support all kinds of work that will contribute to the relations between the two friendly countries, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. I would also like to thank and respect our ASKON Aksaray President Hasan Dağ, who cooperated with us in the organization of this program.
After the program, ATSO President Göktaş presented a miniature of Somuncu Baba Complex to Kubanıçbek Ömuraliyev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ankara, and thanked Aksaray business world for the visit.
