Aksaray construction sector held its first meeting in the past months after the earthquake covering 11 provinces centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, and important issues were discussed and taken up at the meeting.
While the representatives of the sector came together for the 2nd time at the Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ATSO President Ahmet Koçaş, ATSO Vice President Tuğrul Kalkan, Contractors Union President at the same time ATSO Board Member Fatih Güneş, Chairman of the Chamber of Civil Engineers Murat Doğan, Chairman of the Chamber of Geological Engineers Tayfun Aydın, Municipal Zoning Directorate Officials and many building inspection firms attended the meeting.
ATSO President Ahmet Koçaş, who made statements to the sector representatives who came together for the construction of safe structures in Aksaray, said, “Our country, which experienced one of the biggest disasters in the world in 2023, was on alert due to the earthquake and regulations in the construction sector on possible earthquake scenarios in many provinces. started to be made.
As Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we came together with the sector representatives in our province in the past months and consulted about the construction of safe structures in our city. After the meeting, our sector representatives demanded that these meetings be held three times and that the decisions taken after the third meeting be shared with the public. We came together for the second time with our sector representatives who participated in the meeting and expressed the demands, suggestions and problems of our construction sector.
At the meeting, our representatives expressed the demands of our contractors from our Aksaray Municipality and building inspection companies, the demands and suggestions of our building inspection companies from our contractors, and the demands and suggestions of our engineers.
By taking note of the problems, demands and suggestions of our sector representatives who participated in the meeting, we will meet once again in the coming months and share the decisions taken with the public in a report.
